DATA PROTECTION

Your inspection data stays with your firm.

A plain account of how access works in Skyhost, what we store and what we don't do with it. If your IT team needs more, we'll answer their questionnaire.

01PRINCIPLES

Five rules for your inspection data. Each one is something we can show you in the product.

  1. 01

    Private by link.

A session is reached only through its link, and the links go only to the people you invite from the booking.

  2. 02

Accounts for your team, links for guests.

People who review, sign and publish sign in with an account. Guests who only watch join from a link, without one.

  3. 03

    Encrypted in transit.

Pages, project data, and live video and audio are encrypted in transit.

  4. 04

    Hosted in the cloud.

Accounts and project data run on managed cloud infrastructure, not on anyone's desktop.

  5. 05

    Your record stays yours.

Photos, findings and reports belong to your firm, and you can export reports as PDF at any time.

Data protection questions

Can a guest forward the link?

Anyone with the link can join while the session is open, so send it only to people who should attend.

Do you record sessions?

No. The live session isn't recorded; the record is the photos, findings and report uploaded to the project.

Can we get our data out?

Yes. Reports export as PDF at any time, and we'll hand over your photos and findings on request.

Questions from your IT team? Send them over. We'll answer in writing.
